Forklift Wrecker

What Kinds of Vehicles Can a Forklift Attachment Move?

Forklift attachments are powerful enough to move everything from regular sedans to SUVs, and even trucks — yet versatile enough to be easily attached and detached when you need. With a forklift attachment like the Forklift Wrecker, you can maneuver vehicles using a forklift easily and efficiently. Check out this Minute Man video of the Forklift Wrecker moving a heavy duty truck:

How a Forklift Attachment Works

A forklift attachment is a mechanical piece of equipment that slides easily onto the forks of your forklift. It can be secured by tightening the bolts around the forks.

The auto-load wheel lift attachment uses C-hooks pivot around wheels, for a perfect fit with every vehicle. Once the wheels are captured, they can be lifted and fastened tightly to the forklift attachment with straps. With the vehicle attached, operate the forklift to move it anywhere you like.

The hooks of the forklift attachment don’t put stress on a singular point or cause any damage to the vehicle being moved. The forklift and vehicle can be maneuvered in any direction, in tight spaces, and around sharp corners. The forklift attachment gives you greater flexibility and maneuverability than a large wrecker or towing vehicle, and more lifting power than a dolly or wheel lift.

Benefits of a Forklift Attachment

A forklift attachment works with any forklift with at least 5,000 lb lift capacity. It’s easy to attach and use to safely and efficiently transport vehicles, and then detach and store when you’re done using it. Or, leave the forklift attachment on your forklift all the time. You might be surprised how much you want to use it when lifting and towing is this easy.

When you use a forklift attachment to move vehicles, you can transport vehicles without needing to start or even get inside the vehicle. It doesn’t require finding lost keys, jumping a dead battery or prying open a crushed door.

A forklift attachment can lift heavy vehicles up to a capacity of 3,500 lbs which makes it a great tool for a wide range of applications. It’s more efficient than other towing products that can’t work across a range of vehicle types or uses, and saves you money from needing to call for a towing service every time you need a vehicle moved.

Common Forklift Attachment Applications

A forklift attachment is a versatile piece of equipment that can be used in almost any application where moving, organizing, arranging, and storing vehicles safely is crucial. If you have to handle a lot of vehicles at a time in your daily operation, a forklift attachment can move vehicles quickly and efficiently — saving your business precious time and money. Here are a few examples of applications for the forklift attachment.

  • Car lots
